I Am Me Summer Tour
I AM ME Tour to Hit 32 Cities, The Veronicas and Ashley
Parker Angel to Perform Show Openers. Ashlee Simpson is embarking on her second major United States tour in less than two
years with the official kick-off of the "I AM ME" Summer 2006 Tour in Santa Barbara, CA on June 5, 2006. The "I AM
ME" tour will hit arenas and amphitheatres in more than 32 cities across the United States including New York, Los Angeles,
Dallas, Boston, Philadelphia, Orlando, Denver, Memphis and Houston over a three month stretch. The Veronicas and Ashley Parker
Angel will support on all dates.
Simpson's sophomore effort I AM ME debuted at the top of the Billboard charts on October
18, 2005, just as her first album AUTOBIOGRAPHY did in 2004. To date, Simpson's albums have sold nearly six million copies
and she has successful acting credits on "7th Heaven" and a critically praised feature film debut in "Undiscovered," to her
name. Simpson recently hosted the Australian MTV Video Music Awards and has appeared on countless magazine covers including
Elle, Blender, Cosmopolitan, Seventeen and Jane.
